I just bought their 40th Anniversary Issue last weekend when I was at Fan Expo and it makes me <3 b’aw so damn much. I don’t know if it would turn people over, but I highly recommend it for insight on their relationship. RANTY RANT TIEM  I agree so much. It makes me sad when people don’t really understand their relationship. They need each other. Espescially Reed. He doesn’t always show his love but it is there. Sue has always been there for Reed, slowly bringing him back from his crazy schemes and ideals. They understand each other; they accept each others flaws and quirks. Reed and Susan mesh well together. Reed is a man who is blinded by facts and figures and constantly working and concentrating on The Next Big Project and the like. Susan has always managed to keep his over-ambitious, borderline obsessive-compulsive personality at bay. Susan is incredibly intelligent and needs a man like Reed to keep her on her toes. It is often said of Reed that without his faithful wife, he collapses. He is unable to function. To me, that is love. Reed has been able to find his own special way to express his love to Sue, and although highly difficult for him, successful in the end. Even through the civil war, when both Reed and Susan took opposing sides, Reed saved Susan’s life during battle. Even when they’re at their wit’s end and angry and hurt beyond belief with each other, they’re love for each other can still over come and prosper. They can still manage to pick up the pieces and carefully fix their marriage. BUt one of my favourite parts of Reed Richards and Susan Storm is that they’re a typical married couple. They have problems and they bicker and they argue and it is rare when they do get along. They have so much on their plate what with being full-time parents, taking care of Ben and Johnny, and of course their jobs as top scientists of the world and superheroes.  I am reblogging myself but I’ve seen wayyyy too much REED HATE around Tumblr for me to let this sit. <3 Zoom
